Works as expected

The best thing about Stabilicers is that the cleats are replaceable. A disappointment, though, is that the cleats are not hardened and wear rather quickly when climbing on boulders where there's only a sporadic covering of ice. They grip well on bare rock so the tendency is to leave them on for the entire climb so as not to risk stepping on a barely visible layer of the slippery stuff. My Stabilicers are about 3-4 years old and only worn when I need them. This is the first time I've changed all the cleats, but I'll probably pay closer attention and do it more frequently. The soles are the Vibram brand and I'm noticing that the lugs are showing cracks. I hope they're still capable of holding the cleats in place.

Love this Product!

I love my stabilicers, but many of the cleats had worn down. With this pack, I replaced all the old cleats and my stabilicers are now LIKE NEW.
The old cleats were so worn down, I needed vice grips to remove them. The new cleats were easily installed with a screw driver.

Great price, fast service

Replaced nearly half the cleats in my STABLicers, the other half did not need replacing. The replacement process was quick and easy, and just in time for more icy road conditions. I walk a full-size Doberman every morning; the STABLicers keep me from falling when she literally drags me.

Best outdoor product I have ever bought

Stabilicers with replaceable cleats provide unbelivable traction on icy trails. You don't have to be concerned with removing the stabilicers if you encounter dirt or rocks. It is easy to replace the cleats if you dull them. The product is almost indestructible unlike other products that can break.

One of a kind product

I am a forester and work on steep icy slopes during winter. Sabilizers are the ONLY strap on cleats that stay on and dig into any hard ice or frozen soil. Walking side-slopes is not a problem. They offer perfect support with no side slippage.

Like walking on water

Freedom to walk around in winter. Rather amazing, though good sense and caution must remain engaged. Do not wear into the bank or the market. Also, will catch on carpet. Avoid paved surfaces, which will quickly wear down the cleats. Worth every single penny.

Stabilicers Replacement Cleats

These are replacement cleats (sheet metal screws) that you screw into the bottom of the excellent Stabilicer Traction Devices, so you can strap them over your shoes and walk or run on snow and ice with little or no fear of slipping.

Keep the STABILicers working

Being able to replace the cleats makes me use the STABILicers all the more freely. I don't change them all at once, and thus they're always good. Very freeing - I do not fear winter, I do not fear ice.

Best set of ice cleats on the market, ide

These cleats are light weight and great for walking. We have a 5 mi. trail we walk every day,and when icy or slick in the spring we have no problem walking with these.

Love these

I live in Alaska and these are excellent for running in the snow and ice. Cheaper getting them here than at the local running store, which cost $10.00 for 20 screws.
