Not Adequate for Outside Waistband Concealed Carry

I bought this jacket for concealed carry in the fall/spring and found that it is not adequate. I carry my pistol in a holster on my right-side belt, outside the waistband. While the back of the jacket is long enough, the sides of the jacket are not long enough for effectively carrying concealed. I returned the jacket.

Ok For Casual Wear

I purchased this jacket thinking I could use it for concealed carry/tactical wear but the inside pockets are not big enough to hold a small pistol or a clip. The side pockets are deep but not practical for concealed carry. The sleeves need a liner it can be difficult to take on and off depending on what type of shirt you are wearing. The jacket fits nice and is reasonably warm, and wind resistant. The back of the jacket is longer than the sides and hangs down so when you bend over your back stays covered. The end of the sleeves are gathered with a velcro strap. I would prefer an elastic type cuff. If you were a police officer the pull out ID panels would be a plus but if you are not they are useless. I would have returned the jacket if i had not worn it for a while.
