686 Reserved M-68 Insulated Parka -
The M-68 is a highway in Michigan but it's also a sick jacket from 686, which is more exciting in our opinion. The 686 Reserved M-68 Insulated Parka has everything you need to succeed out on the mountain, from infiDRY® technology, which will keep you dry, to a thermal rating of 7, which will keep you warm. On top of that, it features convenient components like a sherpa-lined zip-off hood, a snap-up adjustable powder skirt and pant-to-jacket connection tabs. Keep your iPhone (Android, Windows, or flip phone...) safely tucked away but still accessible in the dual access audio pocket, and your credit card and ID for after-run brewskis stowed in the hidden stash pocket. You may regret some girls you dated in college, but you won't regret buying the Reserved M-68.

Phil Jacques is a beast in the streets and a banger in the backcountry. Sending it off isolated booters in the morning and greasing handrails at night is all in a day's work for the Canadian pro. That's why the 686 Men's Reserved M-68 Parka Insulated Jacket is his signature coat.

Infidry-10 keeps grungy sidewalk snow from seeping in and transfers moisture during hikes to the summit. 80g/40g insulation blocks out wintery weather, and Air-Flo underarm vents zip open for snowshoeing back to the kicker or climbing up stairs. The adjustable powder skirt is there when you need it and snaps away when you don't. A waxed draw cord cinches at the waist to add another layer of protection against cold and snow. Pockets specifically designed to hold everything from a phone to a season pass. Inspired by street fashion, the M-68 parka looks just as good shredding the mountain as it does cruising the streets — which is good for blending in while scoping out a street spot.

686 Reserved M-68 Insulated Parka Review:

Reviews:

Because this jacket just showed up at my door. After seeing Phil Jaques run this jacket in the Deja Vu movie, I knew what I had to do next. . .order that shizz! So I did, and it just showed up and its gunmetal oil colored and its friggin' beautiful.
Ok, maybe seeing Phil Jaques wearing this wasn't the only reason I had to cop. What really sold me was the 80/40g poly blend insulation. Basically theres denser(80g) insulation in the body and thinner (40g) poly fill in the sleeves. In a nutshell, this thing is TOASTY, but it's not constricting all this and its a slim fit. What? Slim fit and warm doesn't normally go together. . . But because of that 80g/40g poly fill it keeps you super warm with minimal layers required so you can still move around. Bottom line here- you dont have look/feel like the embarrassing little brother from "A christmas Story."
This jacket is 10k so for most of you out there this will keep you plenty dry. I've ridden 686's 10k jackets in some of the Pacific Northwests finest mid-winter rain storms and been perfectly dry and warm. On top of that, the poly-fill in this jacket keeps you warm even if it does get wet.
Other good stuff I've noticed: POCKETS, you can fit a ton of whatever you want in this jacket - 6-pack? no problem. Deli sandwich? you got it. First aid? sure. Those white zippers you can see on the front zip open to the interior pockets for quick access to your extra mitts or pocket camera. It also comes with all the sweet stuff that 686 is know for - Powder skirt, pit zips, pass pocket, good style.
Im 5'10 and 155 lbs and got a M and its a perfect fit. First impressions - WARM, sweet looking and functional!
