ACR ResQLink+ Buoyant Personal Locator Beacon Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Always be Prepared

This is an exceptional device. When photographing wildlife, I am often by myself in remote locations. Having the locator device is as important as the pepper spray for large predatory mammals.

Like the fire extinguisher, parachute, and safety belt, an essential tool - hopefully never required.

The one thing I would like it to have is a carabiner clip and/or small housing with same on the outside. I fasten the beacon to my backpack via the velcro straps, but would prefer a clip of some kind better.

I did not click the reliable button as I have not required the use of the unit yet.

price is right

good price and packable size but the exterior strap that covers the on button keeps falling off. I have to use 2 rubber bands to keep it on.

Safety larger than it's size

I never know what equipment is on board any vessel I may be on, large or small. Now I have a little edge on safety.

Neutral Reviews:

Potential.

Use: Use while cycling on the open back-roads where cell phone signals are unavailable. Hiking. Fishing. Advantages: Lime color is easily seen. Attachment points at both ends.

DisAdvantages: Not accurate to within 10 feet. Must improvise a lanyard.
