Protective, but fall off easily
These covers slide on easily, and are molded so that they sort of lock in around the hosel, but it's not terribly secure on there. One thing I plan to do before my next round is to run some cordage through them so they're all tied together, and they won't get lost. My dad assured me I'd have one lost by my third round with them (which almost happened).
Gets job done
I bought these iron covers and surprised they fit a wide variety of clubs. I have multiple sets of clubs and they fit them all. Good product.
