Have had these a couple months now and am very satisfied with this shoe. Even performed well on desert and forest trails until I stepped in a soaked patch of moss that went a bit deep. It held up pretty well in a light rain, but anything more your socks/feet will be wet... Though drys quickly considering its breathability Grips well, but for my own preference it could be better. The "hard plastic" referred to in another review isn't plastic but a stiff foam which isn't troublesome and provides excellent protection.

The terrex swift solo is a sturdy, stylish, minimalist shoe. The tongue wraps up the front of the ankle a bit making it very sturdy, and the wrap-around rubber on the toecap makes the shoe durable and grippy if you're doing some scrambling while approaching a rock face. Though it doesn't have much arch support, you can just replace the insoles. Plus, kicking it around the city they're uberstylish. Just with they also offered them in all-black.

Reminiscent of the fantastic ZuperKlimb discontinued last decade, this shoe is a little more cheaply made (the right-side second shoelace pass-through broke within the first 3 hours of wear). Break-in period features a weird sensation as the material expands and shapes to your foot. Colors are great if you love orange. Seems to be discontinued.

Nice quality and fit. Warning the end of the tongue is a stiff plastic, wasn't expecting that but it is fine.

Neutral Reviews:

Odd fit. Inside of toe cuts in too soon, so my big toe rubs. Tried a half size larger, and problem lessened but still there, and now my heel slips. Very stiff shoe. If it fits you I'm sure it would last forever, feels like its made of Kevlar. Unfortunately it's also about as comfortable as Kevlar. Wanted to love it, looks great, but it's just too uncomfortable.
