| I practiced at VDM tennis univ. through high school and was on a DI tennis team. I have used every type of high end tennis shoe from Diadora, Head, Reebok, Nike Zoom Air (Sampras' old shoe) and this is easily the best. It is almost as light and has as low a profile as the zoom air but has the durability of a heavy hardcourt shoe like Head makes. It also fits like a glove (my foot has mid-high arch and is medium-narrow in width). | |

| One of the best shoes Adidas ever made. The shoes are a little stiff and are not made for people that like a lot of cushioning. This is pro stuff. | |

| The Adidas Barricade was an outstanding shoe. Which is why I bought the Barricade II. As soon as I tried the shoe on the lace holes popped right off of the shoe. I have heard they had the same problem with thier golf shoes. Adidas usually makes good products. They are having some quality control issues | |

| There are already 3 newer versions of this same shoe, and they are the same price! Buy the Barricade V, it is using the latest technology and why would you buy an older shoe if it is the same price? | |
