Unpredictable operation

I intended to use this unit for wild life shots. I set it up per instructions and changed to many different channels trying to get it to function properly. It was totally unpredictable. Hardly ever worked pre focus even though the "green" LED indicated it was focusing. With the "Red" LED sometimes it fired, sometimes not, once it fired about 25 times before I could get to it and shut the camera off. Going to return it. Sure wish it would function, I really needed it!
