Airfusion assembly and performance

My kayaking experience is limited and I can only compare the Airfusion to my other kayak, the Advanced Elements Advanced Frame model. I bought the Airfusion specifically for more speed. A point that takes me 10 minutes to paddle in the Advanced Frame can be paddled to in 7 minutes or less in the Airfusion. Definitely more maneuverable than the Advanced Frame.

Assembly must be studied prior to your maiden voyage. The instruction are very well written. There are many steps in assembly, so be patient and deliberate. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

In reviews on other sites, the infamous #3 sleeve tube gives many people trouble. It can be very tough to move. I found a little lubricant on the inside of this works wonders.

While the Airfusion is not an uncomfortable boat, the Advanced Frame takes the prize there. Like a floating couch. The Aifusion's narrow beam may make it too narrow for some people.

Neutral Reviews:

Haven't used it yet

It was difficult to put together...definitely need two (or one VERY strong person) to get the side rails together.....a VIDEO would be better to explain the process rather than that book in such TINY print. I have not had the opportunity to use this kayak yet and don't know if I will even be able to haul it around.
