Tremendous air flow

I needed a high volume pump to fill the home made safety bladders I used on my Folbot kayak, which fill basically the entire bow and stern sections. They take a LOT of air to get filled up properly.

This pump more than fills that need. The dual action means that it pumps air both on the down and the up strokes, and the big internal volume gives a lot of air per stroke.

When you need to deflate again, just move the air line to the other side of the handle, and it works as a vacuum too, which is a huge time saver and pulls the last bit of air out of anything inflatable.

Comes with a bunch of nozzles, to fit just about anything, including my float bladders that use beach ball type valves.

My only concern is that the hose seems to be a bit thin-walled, and kinked badly in a couple of places. It doesn't alter the function at all, but I don't know if they are going to hold up long term.

Works great with my inflatab paddleboard

I use this with a Sevylor inflatable SUP. It took some work getting the adaptor off of the tube that came with the Sevylor pump, but once I did it fit onto this pump perfectly. Works much much better than the free pump that Sevylor gave, I can get my paddleboard inflated to 12psi in a couple of minutes. Also works perfectly for deflating.

Great product

I bought this and the electric pump for the advanced elements inflatible kayak. After using this I don't even bring the electric one with me. I inflates it two minutes with minimal effort. This is a great. The only drawback would be it's size it's not big but that would be the only thing I could think of.

Does what it's supposed to do

Inflated my kayak in a matter of minutes. Deflated my kayak in a matter of minutes. Easy to use. No problems.

Not for the big stuff.

This pump is sold under at least two different names.

It came with an inflatable canoe that I purchased. The first thing I noticed was that it was very light weight- not really a positive in a floor pump for pumping a large inflatable.

The pump comes with several adaptors, none of which fit any of the higher end inflatable valves. By using the adaptor I was able to attach it to my inflatables valve, but it leaked until I used some electrical tape.

In actual use the pump is flimsy under force with the pump arm flexing when you push down. The instructions on the pump tell you not to pump with the handle off center- in a properly constructed and sturdy pump this wouldn't be possible as the arm would center itself in the housing.

I must admit I didn't use the pump to fully inflate my canoe- after about 5 minutes of pumping the canoe floor still wasn't even half full, and I still had the two main tubes to inflate. I ended up using my shop vac to inflate the tubes then the pump to finish off the inflation and bring the tubes to the proper PSI.

For a small inflatable that is used infrequently this pump would probably work fine. For a large higher end inflatable you probably want something a bit sturdier- I can't see this thing lasting more than a couple of inflations.

On a side note, I used a cheap 12 volt pump from this same company and it worked flawlessly.

good value, flimsy hose

advanced elements uses boston valves that require screw top adapter that is uncommon. needed to purchase the entire pump to get the adapter. the pump is fine just like any other dual action i have had the hose is flimsy at best it kinks at slightest provocation and the tips are hard to change getting them in is hard removing them is harder because the hose is so flimsy. still i paid less for this pump then most my other dual action so replace the hose and it would be great.
