Adventure Medical Fast & Light Adventurer Kit

Hiking & Camping > First Aid & EmergencyRated: **** by 3 reviews.

Altrec

Light enough for a day hike, comprehensive enough for five day backpacking trips, the Adventure Medical Kits Light and Fast Adventurer first aid kit is super organized, easy to use, and contains a long list of supplies to ease the pain of backcountry ailments and injuries. In an emergency locating the correct supplies in a tightly packed container of bandages, ointments, tapes, and medicines can be overwhelming. That's why Adventure Medical Kits developed the Easy Care™ system. Used here to organize the Light & Fast Adventurer, this system separates the supplies by injury or ailment and labels each compartment so that proper first aid is not delayed by fumbling through the kit. And to further assist with turning around difficult circumstances, a series of instruction cards help you stay on track.

Just Right for a weekend

Rating:****
I own the light and water tight ".3" and this is the big brother. It isn't water tight, but it is more comprehensive than the little ones. I like that it is organized so that you can find things fast. The book included is very comprehensive. It leaves no stone unturned when it comes to wilderness medicine. It is definitely worth its weight in my pack. It stows nice in the top lid or in the bungee straps. One cool thing is that is leaves room for more stuff if you need it. It is easy to pack and repack. I wouldn't go on another trip without it in the car or in my pack.
