Positive Reviews:

works fine

I thought all signal mirrors were created equal, but not so. Another one I bought was useless because the bright spot that you aim it with was so bright that it obliterated the terrain you were trying to signal to. This one works fine.

Negative Reviews:

fundimentally flawed

Plastic mirrors.. they're just no good! I've scratched up more than one. You'll be much better off with glass. I've had a glass mirror in my every-day pack for over a year and I don't feel like there's really a danger of breaking it, unless I somehow chuck it off a cliff. It definitely seems more durable than this plastic one. No scratches at all, even though it rubs and clunks all over everything.

Neutral Reviews:

Scuffs easily

The mirror performs well; however, the disappointment came when taking it out of my first aid kit. I had it packed such that the reflective surface was against a ziplock bag thinking it would act as a shield against scratches similar in idea to the original plastic film that came with the packaging. It's been there for four months and has never seen the light of day except for one test run. I took it out yesterday and found the reflective surface all scratched. It functions but it's disappointing to see that the plastic is that soft. I worry that with a year, the surface will be useless.
