This is great for a personal kit. I take it on day hikes and group backpacking trips. I like to split up communal gear so in a group of 3-4 one would carry the tent, one would carry the cooking gear, and one would carry a more comprehensive FAK suck and the AMK Comprehensive or Fundamentals kits. but then everyone should carry their own personal FAK for little things or if the one with the big FAK gets lost. This kit is nice and light weight and it is cheap enough so when you are running low on gear you can just buy a new kit since new equipment is more expensive. This is just a great little kit for one person if there is more equipment elsewhere in the group. I would recommend getting a bigger kit if you do a lot of longer (not day hike) solo trips though.
This is the perfect personal sized first aid kit! It's very lightweight and compact-able. The bag is very durable, it's watertight to keep out any moisture. I use this kit for day hikes and short overnight trips, always good to have! Super cheap price! I have had to use the moleskins in my kit, they are precut for easy use.
This is about as minimalist as I would ever want to go, and only as a backup plan for a dayhike. I take the .5 model along on the trail on dayhikes and when backpacking, but my buddy carries a complete kit with him, so mine is just in case...
