Great mattress | |

| This is one of the easier mattresses i have ever had to inflate. The pump worked quickly and efficiently, and was idiot proof. After inflated (it inflates it completely without overinflating) it was a very comfy mattress. just the right amount of support but it was still nice and cozy. im not sure what may have gone wrong with some of the other reviewers, as far as the pump, it sounds like they didn't read the instructions. it has a Nickle Cadmium battery which has a memory and unless charged and maintained correctly could be a big problem. But it does come with instructions! so make sure you read them first. the only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the NiCad batteries, it makes it a little inconvenient having to charge it properly, but aside from that i have no complaints. | |

| Very comfortable and user friendly. It inflates really fast with the quick charge pump, and thats all there is too it. I was very impressed with the comfort and durability of this air mattress. | |

| My wife and I have used this on three car camping trips. We slept great all 5 nights we've used it. | |

Not worth it. Don't buy.

| I bought this bed for my parents to sleep on when they visit. The first night they said that it was too soft, which we wrote off as user error because we didn't get a chance to charge the inflator for the full 12 hours. The following night, with the pump fully charged, we tried again. The pump would work but after a few minutes it seems like it was unable to pump any more air and would sound like it's getting weaker, followed by air actually escaping from the pump while it's running. That part was really strange. So, we learn to pull the pump out as soon as the sound starts to change to prevent air leakage. By morning, however, the once-somewhat-firm mattress was really soft. If I had to estimate, I would say that it lost about 15% of the air overnight. My parents are pretty petite and they're about 220lbs combined, with the air mattress on carpet. So, it looks like the mattress has some sort of slow leak somewhere that we can't identify. We tried again just to make sure that it's not some sort of fluke. The fully charged pump seems to lose steam, again. There's definitely something weird going on with the pump. And again by next morning the mattress felt like it has lost about 15% of the air. So, after 3 unsuccessful nights I"m going to bring this back to return and see if there's a better mattress for my parents to sleep on. I don't recommend this mattress. | |

The price is higher than the durability

| I expected more from the Aerobed brand. The mattress is reasonably comfortable. But the pump is not forceful enough to inflate the bed to "firm." The pump will not run directly off of AC power. The pump only charges its batteries with AC power. The pump will run instantly off a 12 volt car outlet. I used my mattress about five times for long weekend car camping. Then part of the valve broke. That made the mattress difficult to fill. That same weekend the matress sprung a leak. The leak was one of those slow leaks that can not be found. I did not abuse the bed in any way. Overall, I found low durabilty to be a problem. Even the carry bag seems delicate. I think this bed has too many flaws. The warranty is only one year. The bed's high price does not seem justified. | |

Not all it's cracked up to be

| This bed is comfortable once inflated, but it is quite a job to get it there and be very gentle with it once it is. The pump does not work when plugged into wall and does not hold a charge well. If it is plugged into a cigarette lighter adapter, it inflates the mattress very quickly, but when your tent is not close to your car, that is not very convenient. Our mattress popped in the center of the top on it's 6th use. Not very high quality in my book. We took it back and did not get a replacement. | |

Not worth the $$$ | |

| For the cost of the mattress I thought I would be getting something more. It inflates and deflates fairy quick which is nice. The chargeable air pump is also nice, although it broke after about 10 uses (they replaced it without any issues). Every mornning i need to fill it up with more air as some escapes through out the night and it has done that since day 1. I would maybe look at getting a cheaper one with the rechargable pump | |

Horrible | |

| Have returned this product multiple times. Only have used for indoor use and each one has had a small leak and whomever sleeps on it ends up on the floor or close to it by morning. Bad product. Have other Aero beds that do not have this problem. Wouldn't recommend. | |

Electric charger doesn't work.
| Rating: | ![]() |
| The plug-in wall "charger" that comes with this almost never works. I experienced this firsthand, and it is a common complaint in online reviews. The bed is worth buying, but if you purchase it, be forewarned that you will either only be able to pump it at your vehicle, or you will have to shell out another [$] for an AC to DC converter. Such a converter will allow you to use the cigarette lighter plug that comes with the mattress and plug it into a wall socket. I found a decent converter [...] called the "Black & Decker CV6B Travel Mate 6.0 Amp AC/DC Converter" that I purchased for [$] including shipping. If you do get a converter, make sure to get one rated for at least 6 AMP.One other issue: the mattress valve is fragile. The first time I used it, I accidentally broke a small plastic piece off the valve, and it took a while to retrieve the piece (which had fallen inside the mattress) and reattach it.The good news is that the mattress is comfortable and firm, as far as air mattresses go. It's ideal for use as a spare mattress for guests, or as a mattress for tent camping out of your car. | |

Lasted a Year | |

| This is REI's most expensive mattress and it lasted one year of daily use. Punctured on the side where I would get up in the morning, so to get more use out of it slide off quickly and don't sit on the side. | |
