Best Outdoor Toy I've Ever "Thrown" Away

We always toss one in the back of our car or truck when we go on picnics, to parks, cookouts...

It is a great toy for all ages - super easy to make fly and to catch so even small children can participate; seems to bring out the competitive streak in teens and active adults; and it takes little skill or effort to use it so anyone can enjoy a relaxed, friendly game.

Its design makes the Ring stable enough to use when conditions are too windy to fly a regular disk.

However...you need more space to use an Aerobie Flying Ring than an ordinary flying disc; a lot more space if you've got a good arm. The advertising claims are not exaggerated - these babies can really soar fast and far.

We've lost rings that have gotten hooked on tree branches, that flew much farther than expected and ended up in lakes or lost in tall weeds or thick undergrowth, and have mysteriously vanished after having been loaned to friends.

Great Dog Toy!

One of our dogs (15lbs) LOVES this ring (his sister has no interest in it whatsoever). Part of the game is also to 'fight' for the possession of the ring. This leads eventually to chew damage; but this only happens if both sides hold on to the ring simultaneously (and pull). Even a slightly chewed ring remains functional for quite some time, it may not fly that far but it often turns into a fast running wheel upon landing which is also interesting to chase. In our hands/teeth the rings last several months of pretty hard play. Our dog has turned into a muscle-packed sprinter thanks to these toys. This is definitely his favorite toy, he even carries it bravely (he is a small dog and the ring is very large for his size which makes walking long distance with it another exercise) to and from the field. If it were up to our dog, he'd never stop playing 'ring' on his own. We never forget to bring water along...

Good product

I bought mine to take on road trips with my roommates and girlfriend probably around 20 years ago. Don't have the roommates anymore, but I still have the Aerobie and girl (wife now). We always had a good time throwing it around and liked that it is easy to catch, easy to toss, and not to intimidating to have flying at you fast. I've always kept mine stored safe and flat or hanging as it can be warped which will alter it's flight. Mine is ready to be replaced now after 20 years. The softer rubbery parts are getting hard and starting to show some cracks, but I think that we more than got our moneys worth from this and I am going to replace it with the same again.

dog's best friend

I have used the Aerobie pro flying ring with my dog for the past 4 years and it is the best thing I have found to keep her entertained and exercised. it is easy to throw and "arm friendly" as opposed to chukking a ball, and with her energy level this makes a big difference. I find it holds up remarkably well for the "love" it receives from my dog. I would not leave it unattended with any dog as it can be as fun to chew for some as it is to chase. Sadly, as stated on the top, it does not float and this has led to great heartache at the beach.

Not for the coach potato!

I have never been much more than a recreational frisbee player. But after purchasing the Aerobie Pro Flying Ring, I feel like I can hang with the best of them! It is so easy to throw and catch. My 15 year old athlete can stay challenged, and it makes my 7 year old feel confident.

Goes the distance!

One of our Hawaii staples. Easy to fit in the suitcase and the kids love it.
