I love this shoe
DISCLAIMER NOTICE - I own and am wearing the first version of these shoes. However, I like them so much that I'm going to purchase the II version as soon as I can get to the store. I've had these shoes for just over two years now, and I wear them all the time. For work on jobsites. For baseball practice and games as a coach. For hikes in the Chugach. For going to the movies and church and stores. If the snow isn't too deep, I've worn these shoes in the snow. In the rain. In the mud.
They are waterproof, dry fast, don't get stinky, and are comfortable. Timberline used to make a great shoe comparable to these, and I wish I would have bought 20 pair to last the rest of my life. But these Ahnus are nearly the same in all areas.
The same right down to the OEM shoe laces are the only lame issue with these shoes. Buy good laces before you leave the store.

Nice Shoe
I have been using this as a casual shoe for everyday use. Once it starts to show some wear, I am sure that I will use it for hiking in the foothills. The shoe is comfortable, but a little stiff. Not as comfortable as my Keen hiking boots. The shoe appears to be rugged and well made, but I have not had it long enough to put it to any real test. I bought the shoes on sale, and I feel I got a good value.
Great shoes
I got these 9 months ago to wear while walking my dogs in the early morning through a park where the grass is usually wet and through puddles after a rain. I was frustrated with other "waterproof" shoes that left my feet wet and cold after a few weeks. These shoes have protected my feet through wet grass and 2" puddles, and they're comfortable and stylish to boot.
Great shoe working out fine
Am loving this shoe. Hadn't bought this brand before, so was wary. This shoe "disappears" from my thoughts while walking, which a good shoe SHOULD do... become invisible. Weather in NYC has been icy/snowy/difficult, so am really happy I've got this shoe. does well on ice too.
Best pair of shoes I own.
I bought the boots to wear in cold weather and for a lot of walking. Now I wear them all the time preferring them over casual wear shoes that cost a lot more.
