We know how you feel. You've been riding at this mountain for 12 years, and who let all these damn tourists on the lifts, anyway? Airblaster designed the Grumpy Jacket just for you, you bitter old bastard. You can even pretend they designed it 12 years ago, if it makes you feel any better.
To keep your brittle old bones from freezing on cold powder days and frigid nights, the Grumpy uses 100g synthetic insulation and a 10K-rated waterproof shell. Fully taped seams eliminate the typical weak spots in your waterproofing. The longer cut adds a little bit of protection and covers your plumber butt, so you can bend over to pick up a nickel without offending everyone behind you. Not that you would care about that, anyway. Zippered, mesh-lined underarm vents let you air out that musty old-man smell when you need to. Of course, Airblaster equipped the Grumpy with a pocket protector for your calligraphy pen or your hunting knife and elbow patches so you don't blow out the elbows the next time you have a coronary and hit the ground hard.
This is Nick Dirks' jacket, but he'll let you have as many as you want, and chances are you're going to want at least one due to its weatherproofing properties and stylish minimalist look.

I got this jacket in the two-tone twill color, size medium, and it looks and feels great. I love the texture of the jacket, as it feels canvas-y and, the color is nice and simple. The features are great too; I like the rear pocket a lot, and the dual-entry pockets are a nice touch. I also like how Airblaster's design team ditched the velcro in a lot of places for buttons; it really adds to the overrall retro feel. The cut is long as is stated, and the powder skirt is there if you need it. The jacket is also warm, and has plenty of room inside for layering. The only gripe I have is that the hood is not removable, but other than that, great jacket and I look forward to wearing it this winter.
I have owned heaps of jackets over the years and I end up selling them at the end of every season but this jacket will have to be pried from my cold dead fingers. The fit RULES! Its obviously longer but its so rad not to have snow sneak up into your undercarriage during the day. This thing is so warm. SO WARM. And when it heats up the huge pit vents save the day. Im 6'1" 175lbs and a large fits perfect. I found that the M would show my wrists too much when i stuck my hands out.. Anywhoo I hope to pass this jacket on to my son one day. SHRED ON!
