Maybe I shouldn't write this so soon, but I have to. I have never put on a pair of shoes that was so instantly comfortable. I have painful bunions on both feet and wear prescription orthotics. I've been a solid Dansko wearer for years (the only shoe I can wear without my orthotics), and now I've found another! The thing I liked most was that the Alegria feels so solid and secure on my foot. Danskos are great, but the height of the platform sometimes makes me feel unstable, and I can't walk quickly in them. The Alegria is a different story. It has all the comfort, support and proper foot positioning (without orthotics!) as Dankso, but also feels secure and I can walk quickly if necessary without worrying about turning an ankle. Above all that, these shoes are adorable! A real treat to find shoes that don't hurt my painful bunions and look great. And with bunions, I'm always looking for a shoe that covers my toes, which makes finding summer footwear a big issue. These shoes cover my toes but the very cool cut out style provides ventilation too. Fantastic new find!
This was my first pair of alegria. Best shoe I have ever purchased. No break in time at all. Goes with everything. On my feet 12 hours as a nurse and these shoes were a dream for me. Only problem is now I want several pairs of them. Great if you have anytype of heel pain or need arch support. This is the first shoe I have purchased in 4 years that did not need a orthopedic insert. The sole of the shoe is perfect, it mold to what you need in your step. It deserves 10 stars on a scale of 1 - 5. I have severe heel pain if I wear the wrong shoe, but no pain with these. You know a shoe is desirable when you see used alegria sell on ebay for almost 1/2 of their original price on line new.
Zappos is great. I ordered a pair of the Alegria Classic Cut Outs and the size I ordered was incorrect. The shoes were too small, so I called and Zappos emailed me a return label, free return and placed a rush order for the next size up in the shoe. They didn't charge my account and gave me 2 weeks to return the first pair. I received the new pair the following day, it was amazing.
Great sandal clog with the best arch support, comfort unsurpassed. Alegria shoes just so good for your feet. Love to see a cut-out version with back strap too. Pink is gorgeous color, surprisingly goes with just about everything.
Great shoe however it is difficult to wear without a sock or footie. Interior leather upper is a little rough.
