The Allen-Edmonds Dover penny loafer is a rich suede detailed with contrast stitching that goes well with slacks or khakis. The shoe is handsewn using a single piece of leather that is formed upward from the bottom of the last, and carefully sewn around the top creating a shoe that forms comfortably to the foot for a perfect fit.

Beautiful shoes

I haven't really worn them, just tried them on but they fit like all other AE shoes I have. Sizing is a consistent but differs from other shoe companies. All the shoes in my closet are 9.5, except for the AEs, which are all 8.5.

I originally saw some suede loafers (Cardin )in one of the shoe outlet chains 2 years ago and decided to wait. Well it has taken this long to find something not only comparable but way over the top. GLAD I WAITED!

I purchased the shoes as a set with the matching belt for my boyfriend. Had the Dover loafers fit him, he would have owned both beautiful items. I was quite impressed with the quality and very sad to return them

This shoe is a classic. Both casual and dressy, it goes equally well with a suit or jeans.As with all Allen Edmonds products the fit and finish are first rate, true to size and comfortable right out of the box!

I now know why these shoes cost upwards of 250.00. The craftmanship is unbelieveable, every stitch is perfectly alligned. The brown suede is a very deep-rich color

Good loafer

One shoe had a sticky stain that was difficult to remove from the suede. It wasn't very large, but it was very stubborn.

Most of my shoes are Allen Edmond's shoes and I have chosen them for their timeless styling and superb fit. My foot is very wide and Allen Edmonds is one of the few top tier companies to make my width. But these did not fit me at all. i was disappointed, as I liked the look.

I returned these brown suede loafers because the wide (3E) sizing was too narrow. Also, the shoes, though still 'new', had a general patina that suggested they had been either sitting around a while or had been previously bought and returned.
