| Allen-Edmonds is simply superior in craftsmanship, styling, and endurance. The craftsmanship of these shoes is typical AE - stitching is tight and smooth, the materials are always first-rate, and the innerlining is smooth leather. These shoes have very versatile styling - one can dress them up (with a suit) or down (with jeans). The chili color and the pebbled leather look fantastic. I've always worn AE (for over 20 years) - these are highly recommended. | |

| Alan-Edmonds are best fitted at a shoe store. I have 3 pairs of AE shoes, and every size feels slightly different. Perhaps that's why they end up at STP at a cut rate price. Example: With AE, 9.5 M translates to a 9 W )...true with this loafer. | |

| Allen Edmonds has been inconsistent with their width sizing. Some D's fit perfect, others you can't even get the shooe on its so narrow. They need to fix this, otherwise they (Alen Edmonds)are the very best shoes you can buy. | |
