AlpineAire's Apple Almond Crisp is a great dessert or snack. If you own a cookstove or even just a pot and some matches, these freeze dried and dehydrated meals are the way to go. They're lightweight, compact, and super easy to prepare. The meals are packaged in resealable foil pouches. Most weigh between 5 and 7 ounces and offer 2 servings. To prepare a meal, just add a couple cups of hot water right to the pouch. A few minutes later you're ready to chow.

Not Cobbler

Rating:**

I misread thinking this was a cobbler, but still, I expected a dessert. Don't be fooled, this is essentially oatmeal and will not quench your sweet tooth. I was certainly disappointed.

It didn't taste like a dessert

Rating:**

This is okay for a breakfast, but I wouldn't call it dessert. I was expecting it to be sweet.

It sucked!

Rating:*

What a disapointment, it's not what it's marketed to be - it's frigging instant oatmeal and nothing more!

Not the best thing Alpine has made but it was decent enough to just be a filler food. Not great but it was ok
