Comfortable & warm for a spring night |
| Rating: | |
| I used this bag on a recent car camping trip in Shenandoah National Park, where the temps were down in the low 50's at night. In those conditions the bag was quite warm and comfortable, I didn't even need to zip it up. I don't generally like being constrained in a mummy-style bag, but this one seems to have extra room inside and that's fine for me. Soft and comfortable. The only negatives are that the zipper really does have a problem with snagging, and it doesn't matter if you're trying to zip it from the inside or outside. The bag is also difficult to roll up and stow inside the provided storage sack. But for car camping it was a good purchase. |

Alps Mountaineering 20°F Sleeping Bag |
| Rating: | |
| Did not get to test in the bag rated coldest temperature but it did rain and the feet end of the bag got wet which woke me. I woke not because my feet were wet but because the insulation value was removed which made my feet cold and cold feet causes me to awake. Temperature that night was about 55 F. Other nights (without the bag getting wet) the temperature got down to 50 F and I had to remove by bed clothes because I was sweating. That makes me believe this is probably an actual 20 F bag. Good quality without paying for the vendor's/manufacturer's name. You know who they are. |

Nice Three-season Mummy Bag |
| Rating: | |
| I am currently using this 20 degree mummy bag at the Lamping Homestead Campgrounds in Ohio's Wayne National Forest. The bag is true to it's 20 degree rating. The hood wraps around my head well when I use the drawcord. Plus it has a chest baffle I can utilize when the temps drop. Hard to find a better deal than this ALPS Alpine Lake Bag. The price was reasonable and it performs well. Keeps me warm at night as I sleep in my tent. I like the insulation-it does not absord moisture. Plus the bag dries quickly if the outer shell gets wet from condensation. Overall, great bag for the money. |

Good Product |

| I purchased this bag for my oldest son who out grew the same bag in regular size. Our family is active in scouts and we own 5 of these bags. One son managed to blow out a zipper on one bag by rolling down a hill in it as scout camp. I have had mine for 8 years. This past January, 3 of us camped out in tents using these bags with fleece liners at -8 F (-17 with wind chill) and had not problems. I have pointed many scouts to these bags with much better results than [@]bags for the same price. |

Finally, one that fits |

| I got this bag for my husband, 6'2" and 215 lbs, and huge shoulders. It is really hard to find a bag that will fit comfortably in. This bag fits him well. It has enough foot room and just enough room to turn in without feeling claustrophobic. It is a bit heavier for our backpacking trips but he says it is worth it! |

Can't beat the quality at this price |

| The bottom line is that at this price level you can't go wrong with this sleeping bag. The extra room of this long bag gives the extra comfort for those who like to move around and avoid the closed in feeling of mummy bags. It doesn't stow as small as some other bags, but then again I only use it for car camping. |

Excellent Bag for the Price! |

| I paid under $30 for this bag from the always amazing sierra trading post (who continue to blow my mind their amazing prices). The bag itself feels like a $100+ bag! Very comfortable and warm. A bit on the bulky side, and I wish it came with a stuff sack, but for the price I paid, who's complaining? |

| I ordered the Long version after hearing the regular is not so long. This is long enough to zip over our heads (we are all under 5' 9") without feeling claustrophobic. The leg area is wide enough that you don't feel like an egyptian mummy. Warm, light, easy to stuff. |

Sleeping Bag on Sailboat |

| Works great on our sailboat. We do a winter curise and the sleeping bag takes up very little room. We saved space on our 33' sailboat since we did not have to take extra blankets. |

Not bad except for the zipper |

| We used this sleeping bag on a recent camping trip. The bag kept us warm during the night, 40+ degrees. Outside of the zipper getting stuck several times this works for us. |
