Excellent Deal

Rating:*****
This is a really well made, sturdy and good looking chair. It’s not heavy for what it is, you just need to realize that it isn’t something most people would want to carry too far. The mesh fabric is very strong but it means you’ll have good ventilation when its hot and more important for coastal campers, you won’t have a soggy chair from fog or dew. Best chair of this type I have seen for the price, and I have looked at a lot. Camp World and big box stores have offered similar chairs at similar prices or even cheaper, but the quality doesn’t compare. This chair is worth it!

QUALITY Chair!!

Rating:*****
Very nice, SUPER comfortable chair. Well built and attractive. A little heavy to tote any distance. Only "con" for me is that you can't elevate the feet without reclining the back simultaneously. I would like to be able to sit up with the foot rest up at the same time. Other than that, it's terrific. My son and husband (both Big Men) love it too. Very substantial feel to it. Feels like it should last many years.

A great lounge chair for the price.

Rating:****
This chair is very comfortable for me as a 5'3 and 130 lbs. woman. It is just the right size and shape for me. Arm rests are comfortable, good back support, adjustable/removable pillow a plus. The mesh bed of this chair is cool and comfortable. In a sitting position, the lower portion of the chair is too high for feet to touch the ground. Its not to heavy for the amount of comfort this chair offers.

Hid chair until ready to use

Rating:*****
I took this to a 4 day native American ceremonial camping retreat. I was not able to use the chair much because in my camp it was first come first sit. I was not always first. Comments I heard were "you really know how to relax" and "what a comfortable chair..." A chair that I could recline and look at the stars, sit up and pay attention, or take a nap.

Great Comfort

Rating:*****
We have four of these chairs and they get a lot of pool side use. Two we have had for two summers and they seem to be holding up nicely. We do not take them in at night or during the rain. The only wear we have noticed is the arms are losing their finish. It is a great chair for the price.

Love this chair!

Rating:*****
This chair was well worth the money. It's very sturdy and easy to open. Somewhat heavy for me, though, but I don't plan on shlepping it around! I put it on the patio, declared that it was only for me, and I think it'll withstand the outdoors quite well. Very comfortable!

Great Quality/Workmanship/Materials.

Rating:****
VERY comfortable. Excellent materials, construction. My husband really likes the wood inserts in the arm rests. Beautiful wood. I found it didn't work as a chair (in non-reclined position). The distance to chair seat was too high (I'm 5'6"). So it for me it only has one use--reclining. That's ok.

Great Quality

We bought three for our deck and back lawn. Very comfortable and sturdy. We especially like being able to easily lock the recline of chair in any position from straight to fully reclined.

Back Yard Reclining At Its Best!

Rating:*****
These lounge chairs are durable and well-made. They can be adjusted for sitting or reclining. They are very comfortable and can be easily opened and closed for storage.

Nice Chair!

Rating:*****
The information supplied with the chair leads me to worry a bit about its durability (long-term exposure is bad, etc.). Other than that, it is an OUTSTANDING chair.

Definitly NOT a Lafuma lounger!

Rating:***
I hade previously gotten a Lafuma lounger and absolutely loved it. I was looking for another (at an affordable price) so that both my husband and I could enjoy them. This lounger looked great, and the price weas good, so I purchased one. This is definitely NOT a Lafuma zero-gravity lounger! It's extremely heavy, so you wouldn't want to have to carry it farther than absolutely necessary; It has odd locking levers that only seem to operate in the upright position (totally useless anyway); When compared side by side with my Lafuma in the zero-gravity position, the leg lift of the Lafuma was a full 9" higher, and the head was 4" lower than on the Alps Mountaineering lounger... And the wooden arm-rests may look pretty, but are hard, and not weatherproof. Get the Lafuma!

No Lay-Z boy, but good light lounger

Rating:***
I wanted a chair that would relax my back. This is good, but would be better if one could tilt back and get feet higher and back more level so the stress is less. At this price, it was worth the risk, but it is not quite what I need.

Not holding up as I expected.

Rating:***
I have had these chairs on my deck for less than 2 wks and already I can see the varnish on the armrests flaking off. Very disappointing. I imagine that the wood will crack next.
