Altra Zero Drop Provisioness Reviews:

I was looking for a shoe to use for crossfit. I tried the Reebok Nano and I hated it. It felt stiff and I wasn't comfortable walking, let a lone running in them. I have weird feet and I usually only wear Saucony, but Saucony did not have a good shoe for crossfit. I tried the Kinvara and didn't like them. So I went out on a limb and tried these shoes. My husband told me about them and I was a little hesitant. I love them! They are great for running and for weight lifting. I usually get a size 10 for running, but with these shoes I went with a 9 1/2. They fit perfect! I actually bought 2 pairs. One of the pairs came with a wedge under the insole and the other didn't. I took the wedge out because it made them too tight on my feet.

I bought these shoes for work (nursing--on my feet all day), and so far they've been fantastic! I love the wide toe box. The toe isn't tapered at all like most athletic shoes, so your feet can move the way they're meant to. I did remove the insoles entirely, and put in some Superfeet--there wasn't much arch support in the shoe to begin with. I also re-laced them using a method from Altra's website to make the front toe area even more accommodating. At first, the light blue plastic accent strip across the front was irritating to my little toes, but after the first few hours I didn't notice it. These shoes are very lightweight and breathable, and they seem to hold up well thought the wash. :)

These definitely do run a size small. Normally I am a 9 in athletic shoes, but I had to take a 10 in these. They are a nice width. However, the purple band across the toe is annoying - I feel like it gets in the way of my toes. I would say both colors (that these shoes are available in) are pretty ugly, too. How about gray, or blue, or black?

Very cute, and it is true, a size a 11 is too small for my size 11 foot. An 11.5 would probably be the right length, but they don't make it. And these are already too big in the heel. Probably not the shoe for me, even in a 12. I do love the minimalist footbed though.

I love these! I have had knee issues in the past so love how these feel. Super cute, too.
