Got to hold crossbow in ground blind. Found it tips over easy. But how use it to hold crossbow, out on enclosed porch . When I'm geting ready to go hunting or when I get back to house . While get off my heavy outside cloths. Works great there.
This crossbow holder is pretty flimsy and too lite to be much use. Unless you're going to fasten it to the floor of a blind, it will want to tip, and when you go to take your crossbow off, it will want to come with the crossbow. I'm going to take a piece of plywood and some strapping and fasten mine to a 2x2 piece of plywood so it will have some weight/stability. Save your money and buy some lumber and build your own. would be really nice to have one that holds the bow horizontal or right side up so you didn't have to swing it 180 degrees to be able to shoot.
They forgot to put a tap all they way through a set screw,so I could not adjust the length for the right size crossbow. Luck would have it that I had a Metric tap.I think cabela's should give me some money back and let the company they purchased it from, to have better quality controll.
