Ameristep Grizzly 20-Ft. Climbing Sticks Reviews:

Almost Perfect

I have another brand of ladder, which is very similar. Ameristep fixed the issues that I have from the other one. There is one issue. The straps to hold it to the tree are too small. Why should I be limited to a 12-16" tree. I hunt where there are 36" oak trees. The straps do not work. I improvised and made the best of the situation. However, I do like them and the ease of instillation with good functionality. PLEASE, GIVE LONGER STRAPS TO GO AROUND REAL TREES!

I like it.

Sure beats screw in steps! I was able to get up the tree and hang my stand in less than 30 minutes. Make sure you use a climbers safety strap and harness, you need both hands to secure the straps around the tree. The box said there were end plugs for the steps to keep water out and to prevent them from rusting. Mine didn't come with the plugs. I will get another set or 2 as I have 2 more tree stands.

Best sticks out there for the money

Just like described work great built well I did what others said and re-enforced with ratchet straps the straps that come with work fine but are a little small for the bigger tree's!!!!

great choice

had to assemble which only took a short time, easy to attach to tree but be sure its not to large in diameter. Great height too.
