Amp Research Bedstep

I had a hip replacement and didn't want to continue jumping out of my truck and wear out my new hip. Also, getting in the truck was a bit of a challenge. So, I researched all kinds of solutions and settled on the AMP BedStep. I have a 2004 F250 and it fit right into the existing bolts for a support bracket under the truck. Nothing of the truck had to be removed, the step was just added to the truck. I did have to find a very narrow 21mm socket to replace the nuts through the new step bracket, but otherwise, a simple effort. Works great, good size step, which I like. Snaps back a little agressively, but not a big deal. Pushes down well without too much effort. I'm very pleased. For those in other reviews that said they need to remove a support bracket, I didn't experience that at all on my truck.

This item was a well designed and constructed step. It went on easily and works better than I expected.
Had already shown off to friends and would highly recommend it.

Installed the bed step on a 2012 F150, took about 15 minutes. Works great, no more risking a fall getting into and out of the bed.

I can't say enough about this step, easy to install and the quality of construction is great!
