first 1/2 marathon and then some
I just recently started training for my first 1/2 marathon and needed something for my longer training runs expecially since the weather has started to get warmer. I bought this product because of others reviews, and I love it. The belt is elastic so you don't have to worry about sizing and if someone else in your family runs they can use it too. Yes, there was some sloshing of the water, but I didn't think it was too bad I guess I don't get annoyed as easily by that. I did like the stretchy pocket, I was able to put my big ipod, kleenex, chapstick and still had room for more. The bottle is an ergonomic shape so it fits in the lumbar spine area, I really didn't even feel that it was there. Not sure how long the elastic band will hold up, we'll see. Also, I will probably buy a front pocket attachment for some easier access to gels as the pocket in the back is hard to access for the smaller items. But overall very well made product, glad I chose this over the others and the price isn't too bad.
all of it and some!
Based on comments about this product, I decided to purchase it. The waist band fits comfortably, with a goodly amount of leverage to make adjustments. The waterbottle fits snugly and ergonomically in it's holder, is easily accessible and more importantly - easy to replace while running. The pouch does hold a lot of stuff and is quite pliable. I look forward to bringing it along on all of my long runs and upcoming summer actitivites and runs.
Great Water Band
I found Amphipod after reading reviews on , and knew that I wanted a singular water bottle rather than multiple smaller ones. This fits well right against your lower back and I haven't ever had an issue with discomfort or chafing. The only downside for me is that because it is a bigger water bottle the water sloshes around noisily which is kind of annoying, but that may just be the nature of one larger bottle.
Missed five stars only because of the bottle bungee, which was ripped out upon arrival. Campmor was good and quick about replacing it. However, location of the bungee causes a minor hangup when putting the bottle back in the sleeve. Also, I can only wonder how long the bungee will last with constant abrasion from removing and replacing the bottle. Otherwise, it is outstanding. I hardly notice it is there.
Comfortable and durable
This setup is comfortable even with the bottle full. I didn't notice it after the first few minutes of running. I used this for 9+ mile runs and have had no issues.
Great waist bottle holder
I use this product for running to carry my water, keys, phone etc. It works great except the band slides down when I am running.
Great product for running/walking. The belt is comfortable but the adjustments for fit didn't want to stay in place I'm assuming because it is new.
Great for long runs
The zippered pouch has room for keys, gels, and phone. The belt stays tight and snug.
