Love this product!

Love this bottle. I purchased this for my husband as a gift. I had the older version without the insulator sleeve and liked it quite well. But I prefer this model and now use it in lieu of mine when we don't run together. The sleeve prevents the bottle from slipping around my hand on long runs when I start to sweat. My only complaint is it takes a hard hit to get the nipple down completely. If I don't want 'whack' it, it seems to leak. Perfect for half marathons and long runs but I typically have to refill it at a water station around mile 10.

I am a marathoner and for my shorter runs, this handheld bottle is what I always use. I tried a competitor's bottle that held a bit more, but the slim design of this one can't be beat. The competitor's model, which is like holding a large cup in your hand, was unbelievably uncomfortable. For someone who has has operations for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, comfort is a MUST! I've ran up to 11 miles with this and have never experienced discomfort. The pocket is great for storage and the wrap is certainly nice so your sweaty palm isn't against the bottle on the entire run.

Easy to carry, but leaks a little

I carry this on medium and longer runs and carry energy chews in the pouch. It fits comfortably in my hand, so I forget I'm carrying it - almost. Mine leaks slightly when turned upside-down or when shook (like the motion your hand makes when running). I don't lose a lot of water and I'm usually already soaked from sweat, so it isn't a big deal. I like this bottle so much that when I forgot it at my sister's house, I bought another one (the first one didn't have a leaking problem) .

Good for shorter runs

My friend and I each bought a Amphipod Hydraform Handheld Thermal-Lite Bottle with Pocket for our training for a half marathon. We couldn't be happier with our purchase. The pocket is great for holding keys or id/credit card. The strap is adjustable and fits on our small hands. The capacity isn't huge, so for longer runs, we would either need to find a place to fill-up or might look into a belt that holds more water bottles. I definitely recommend the Amphipod Hydraform Handheld Thermal-Lite Bottle with Pocket.

Best hydration for running

Easy to carry and use while running and holds a good amount of water. The pocket is great for holding keys and fuel but not big enough for a phone. Sleeve adds comfort but not a significant amount of insulation. My only problem is the strap chafes my hand a bit, so I switch off hands every mile.

just enough hydration

I needed something convenient to carry for hydration on my outdoor runs. It was perfect! Not too bulky, not much sloshing of my water, not heavy at all. I only wish the zipped pocket was a little bigger.

So easy to carry!

Use for 5-7 mile trail runs. Works well when you don't feel like dragging water on your back or around your waist.

The best Handheld Bottle I've used.

This bottle is comfortable during long runs and doesn't leak during the run like some bottles.

I would buy this again.

Came in great for the RunnersWorld Five & Dime.

Negative Reviews:

Not the best handheld

The valve on this handheld is very difficult to open and close. Requires a strong grip, which is difficult if your hands are sweaty. Also, the lid often appears to be secured and properly threaded, only to find that the liquid leaks in large quantities on first use. The harness can interfere with the seal on the lid, requiring the user to stop running and rethread the lid while trying to keep the harness out of the way. I also purchased a Nathan, and found that to be much easier to use.
