Positive Reviews:

Great reflective device.

I first read the reviews on this product and I have to agree that this is a great reflective system. I use my bicycle for transportation. Where I live, cars don't want to give one the right of way or share the road. When they see the reflectors on this, they can see one in the dark or when the headlights hit it.
It also fits over anything. Since it is the winter right now, I find that it is great in fitting over my bulky winter jacket.

Perfect for Kids (and Adults)!

My entire family now uses these for our dog walks in the morning/evening Our neighborhood has no lighting, so the kids on their bikes always made me nervous. I was not sure how these would fit on my 3 and 6 year olds, but they fit perfectly right out of the pouch. Yet they are comfortable for my husband and me as well. These have really helped the kids' visibility! Any little light catches on them. High quality product. Zipped pocket for license + house keys.

Excellent Product

I purchased one of these for my girlfriend last year. She uses it regularly for road biking and running. I borrowed hers for my leg of the Klondike Relay this past September, and was blown away by how well this product works. It adjusts in seconds, lights you up like a Christmas tree and even holds an ipod snug to your chest. Needless to say, I had to buy one for myself.

I love this vest. It was exactly what I was looking for. It is light weight and easy to use no matter what kind of clothes I am running in. I love that it can fit all size people. A great year around item! I feel more comfortable running at night when I wear this. I love it so much I bought one for my sister as well!

Comfortable and effective

I am a college student that rides casually at night in Boston where visibility is a big deal. Other products were not ideal for wearing over winter clothes and were a good deal 'dorkier'. While you still won't win any fashion awards, the xinglet is easy to use, quick to take off, and a minimalist's solution to visibility safety.

Excellent Product

I use this product when I run at night, or when me and my family go for walks at dusk. It is so comfortable! I have tried many other reflective vests, and this is the most comfortable and visable of all the vest I have used. The little pocket in the front comes in handy too.

A must have at night!!!

This is the best reflective product I have seen. My wife and I both have one and they provide very high visibility. If you walk, run or bike in low light conditions near traffic then wear one of these. It is also easy to adjust and very comfortable.

Great safety product and easy to use

My wife and I use this product when we walk back from the train station at night on a busy street with no sidewalks and few street lights. It's easy to put on over any kind of outerwear - very functional. It's the best we've used so far.

Perfect refelctive gear for the run

The Amphipod works perfectly. Easy to put on, take off, and store. EXTREMELY reflective - I have people drive by and commented that I appear to be 'glowing'.
Very lightweight and comfortable - you'll forget that you're wearing it. The small pocket in front is a real bonus.

Negative Reviews:

Looks cool; doesn't adjust small enough

I have two problems with this product, which looked like it had such great potential. If I can't find a workaround this is going to be pretty useless for my nighttime runs, though I expect it's fine for biking.

1) Size Adjustment. Most importantly, I can't have it rest at my natural waist and still adjust it small enough in the vertical straps. As a result, the straps ride up on my neck and chafe. At 5'6 135#, I'm an average-sized woman. Even if I tighten the waist strap very snugly, it still rides up; the waist strap won't stay put with a narrower section of my body above it... This was very uncomfortable for an 8-mile run. I'm going to try to figure out how to clip it or something so that the vertical straps are effectively shortened; any advice on this matter is appreciated!

2) The chest pocket, once it has keys in it, jangles and bounces. I expect this is related to the strap-adjustment issue described above.

On the plus side, the reflectivity is impressive. I felt secure and confident that I wouldn't be missed by cars while running in the dark.

Works great for skinny people

This product seems to be great. However, I have a few extra pounds on me and the vest is form fitting. It tended to emphisize my less attractive features.
