i needed to put a new lug on batt. cable and it was a jumper, took it off and it did not have heat shrink on cable to protect cable from corrosion which ruins cables and putting or having heat shrink on the keeps out corrosion and you get more power from you cable because they are clean
I bought the #2 gauge cable to reduce electrical resistance. The cable is well-made and looks durable, but is relatively stiff for stranded wire. It can still be bent and twisted, but it won't make sharp turns in a close environment. I'd still buy again so as to not waste battery power on the resistance smaller cable carries.
