Made in USA.

  • ABX resin blade material, a blend of fiberglass reinforced thermoplastics, provides excellent durability when pushing off rocks or barnacles
  • Four-piece construction makes this paddle easy to store and travel with; plus it performs well as a back-up paddle, fitting into most hatches

  • Aluminum shaft is lightweight, durable and comfortable in the hands

  • Grooves on the ferrules prevent sand and sludge build-up, maintaining tight, trouble-free ferrules for years of use
  • Provides a flutter-free stroke with superior directional control; feathering is adjustable from 60-degrees right or unfeathered
  • Precision balanced, so you can feel the performance in your hands
  • Drip rings help keep hands and lap dry
  • Combine it with an inflatable kayak for the ultimate in compact paddling

Aqua Bound Sting Ray Four-Piece Paddle Review:

Great for traveling

This paddle is great when traveling with an inflatable kayak. The paddle fits (barely) in the backpack for my Innova Safari.

Sometimes it takes all my strength to separate the blades from the aluminum shaft. But I wouldn't want the blades to be wobbly, either.

The aluminum shaft definitely feels noodly when I paddle furiously in big waves. But I'm still in control on class II and II+ rapids.

There seem to be very few quality 4-piece paddles on the market. This one is satisfactory for most touring and recreational applications.
