Negative Reviews:

Watch out for the flimsy switch

Except for the terrible switch, this seems like a good light. I haven't even installed it yet because the switch broke, & then fell out in pieces under the rubber boot.I've generally had good luck with Aqua Signal equipment, but this one seems like junk. :(The arm could be a few inches longer tooI am off to [@] to see if I can find a replacement. I might be out [$].

Switch Falls Apart

Very poorly made. The switch basically fell out of the base when I removed the unit from the package. Little pieces and not easily repaired. This is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE for a marine environment. I highly recommend against this product.

Piece of junk switch

The switch basically just fell apart while I was installing the light. The light may be just fine but without the switch it is not terribly useful. I strongly recommend not buying this product!

Passable Chart Light

We've mounted probably 50 of these in our products, and one thing that became apparent is that the small switch at the top of the light is rather delicate. It's just soldered to the LED circuit board, not mechanically fastened to the body of the light. One good bump and you're done, the switch body pops off and little tiny parts come out. Aqua Signal would vastly improve the design by just using a simple rocker switch at the base. Otherwise, it's fairly decently priced relative to Hella and Dr. LED. Like ALL LED lights, the wiring leads are tiny so hard to connect to boat or RV power leads.
