Very short life

These units are not waterproof and the warranty does not apply if they are damaged by water. No suprise that they quickly ingest saltwater when installed on the bow of a 53' sailboat. I contacted Aqua Signal when my second set failed. They would do nothing for the 2 sets that had already failed, but they informed me that these had been discontinued an replaced with Type 33's for 12V and Type 34's for 24V. I am suprised they are still for sale, if you buy them, make sure to completely seal them with silicone but still don't expect more than 8 or 9 months use before they fail.

Horrible mounting, cracked optics

I'm amazed WM is still selling this discontinued, awful product. I have no idea if the new series is better, but after my experience with these I don't trust the manufacturer enough to find out.

Mounting is flaky, depending on a little plastic bushing and one screw. One of my bow lights died at the dock, and inspection reveals extensive internal fracturing of the integral LED optics (probably wicking water into the internals).

Avoid the Series 32. I would not try newer models without a careful hands-on inspection of the hardware to see if they have addressed design issues. No meaningful information is available online.

Get the Series 33 - huge improvements

The Series 32 has been discontinued, and the Series 33 has a VASTLY more robust mounting system (same hole pattern, but two bolts), as well as a third hole for the cable. Also, the sealing is clearly better... the Series 32 units were prone to failure from water incursion.

I am appending this to my earlier review, and am happy to recommend the newer product.

I would not recommend it

Thought this would be a good anchor light, but it did not even last a year.
