Great Case | |

| A great little case! I've ruined a camera or two with water and sand damage on just casual use, so I decided to spring for something more than a ziploc bag. I've been using it for almost two years now and there's only one small scratch. Taken it in and under the water, no problems. It's great on canoe trips, winter camping, and beaches where nasty things like water and sand could get at it. Just be careful to leave it shut- once sand gets in there it's hard to get out without scratching things up. People are always super-impressed with it, it takes really clear pictures and the blue plastic makes button-pushing easy. Two pitfalls: make sure to use the silica packet that comes with it, otherwise it will fog up. Finally, it could be difficult to operate your camera if it uses a dial. | |

| I purchased this camera case in anticipation of visiting hot springs in Costa Rica. Tested it first at home by submerging the case in some hot water in the sink. If any moisture had gotten in, the bag would presumably steam up, it definitely did not and the dessicant pouch made sure it stayed that way as long as the pouch is sealed. In Costa Rica, the pouch (with the camera in it) was submerged and drenched with very hot water and still took great pictures. The only issue I had was that the dessicant pouch had a tendency to move around, which I ended up taping to the pouch with athletic tape that left residue. It would be good if there was a pocket or something to keep the dessicant in place. | |

| Excellent for safely carrying & using a small digital camera on a kayak or canoe. I used it on weekly kayaking outings this season, with never a hint of moisture inside. Most cameral controls are easy to use through the soft, flexible blue portions of the bag. (I have a Nikon Coolpix 7900, which wasn't included in the "fit list" for this size case.) Shooting through the clear, stiffer windows produces sharp photos. Those windows seem reasonably scratch resistant. The attachment points for the bag to the closure pieces seem like they might be weak points, but I've had no problems with them so far. I love it. | |

| By far a great investment for capturing moments that normally would be hard to get without this product. I used it on our vacation to Play Del Carmen Mexico. I was able to carry my camera into the beach as well as a local water park and was able to capture quality pics. I had a lot of people asking me what my pouch was. I strongly recommend it if you have a slim digital camera, as it might give a few problems with a thick camera if you have a zoom lens. I plan on using it on every trip that might involve water. | |

Best Waterproof Camera Case

| I purchased the Aquapac for my fourth of July kayaking trip in Santa Barbara. It worked great. My little Nikon kept 100% dry and I was able to get some great shots of my friends and I out on the ocean. I really liked the lanyard feature which allowed me to keep it around my neck or tied down to the kayak while I was paddling. You just need to remember to wipe the water droplets away from the front of the camera, otherwise you will get blurred images and water droplets in your photos. | |

Great product, but requires a bit of patience and skill

| I recently used the aquapac compact digital camera case during my trip to Hawaii. The bag did a fabulous job at keeping my camera nice and dry, but made underwater picture taking a little awkward. My snorkeling pictures taken on a sunny day in shallow waters came out the best, but I found that pictures taken above water turned out blurry due to water drops on the outside of the case. I have used disposable underwater cameras before and those pictures did not come out half as good as the pictures I took with the aquapac. | |

| I bought this for use on a cruise for my digital camera. I feel that it is a good waterproof case (after testing it in the sink full of water), but operator error caused it to leak and the small amount of water that got in the case ruined my camera. I had a small crease where it snaps together, which you are not supposed to have, and water did get in. I don't blame the case, and I hope that my mistake will save others from having the same problem. | |

| The case was perfectly waterproof, and took pretty good photos. It was great in the rain, everyone else was taking "quick shots" and quickly hiding the digital camera. But not me, I could take the time to compose my shots and never had to worry. I could even work the controls too. | |

| Fits a Canon SD800IS fine and the photos during kayaking turn out fine, but it's difficult to press the buttons on top of the camera. Still, there isn't any other product that offers this much protection. | |

| I recently bought the aquapac case for a kayaking trip I was taking. Personally, I found it very hard to get the camera to stay centered within the case, it was constantly moving around inside the pack. When shooting a photo (fine dexterity difficult) the case would bunch up over the lens causing a distorted photo on at least 50% of shots. Lastly, the clamp that keeps the case water-tight opened slightly without me being aware; it became apparent after I dumped and found my camera esentially in a bag of water. Could have been user error on my part but even without the last bit, I would not purchase this item. If you are at all serious about taking photos in or around water, buy a water-proof camera. | |
