Perfect for hiking boots -hard to find

I've been using Aquaseal to condition and waterproof my leather hiking boots for more than 10 years now. I tried many other products previously but never found one as effective as Aquaseal is. On a recent backpack, it rained all my last night, was raining in the morning and rained all the way out 8 miles to the car. I hiked through a trail of almost continuous puddles and streams but arrived at the car with dry socks. I credit Aquaseal for this excellent performance. Before I apply it, I let the boots stand out in the sun for an hour or so, after which the Aquaseal melts easily into the warm, soft leather, both surface and seams. My only issue is that it is very difficult to find this product in my local Northwest area, so I was glad to find I could get it on-line from Campmor.

Aquaseal Paste Waterproofing/Conditioner

I have been hiking all over the US and Canada for around 40 years with various Asolo Boots, and I have always used Aquaseal for conditioning/waterproofing. I find it to be the best stuff and is very easy to apply with fingers and hands. Boots come out beauteous. I really do not care if others do not like it or not, because I do -- and that's what counts!!!!

Ideal For Most Leather

Have used this product for years. Ideal for gore-tex lined leather and all smooth leathers. Multiple coats will give you a nice waterproof barrier. I believe it is nearly scent free, which is why I use it on my hunting boots. Apply with fingers or tiny sponge. A little goes a long way.

Good Goo

This stuff is the best I can find. It's not the gross bees wax type. It gets into the leather but does build up a white silicone residue if you put too much on, especialy in the seam areas but this can be rubbed off.

Excellent waterproofing

Have used Aguaseal for years on my hiking boots. It conditions and maintains the leather as well as waterproofs. I have never had water seep into my boots with this product even when fully submerged.

Exactly what I was looking for

Used it on my leather merril light backcountry cross country ski boots and could see that melting snow was beading up on the boot

Boots don't die

I took my boots in for replacement soles. They were stunned at the condition of the leather. Thank you Aquaseal.

Best boot waterproofer

Aquaseal keeps my feet dry in 35 year old boots! Paste is better than liquids…it fills the cracks.

The best stuff, used 30+ years.

Light coats are best. Leather lasts a long time with it.

Worked til it dried

I applied the paste 3 times and it wore off after about 30 min when the paste dried.
