Arbor Element Snowboard -
Riding one part of the mountain all day... ain't nobody got time for that! Hop on the Arbor Element Snowboard and take on the entire mountain, from groomers, to park, to surfing backcountry pow. The Element features Arbor's Mountain System Rocker, which gives the board a directional twin shape and a "True-Rocker" design to dominate the entire mountain. Other features such as Arbor's Mystic core, UN3 Progressive Sidecuts, and Progression Base, make the Element lightweight with great edgehold and a surprising amount of pop and response. High-end performance with a do-it-all design, the Arbor Element Snowboard is the perfect board for today's ride-it-all addicts.

Lining and Layers:

  • Power ply topsheet acts like a third layer of fiberglass to structurally enhance the board; protective castor-bean-based bio-plastic topsheet finish

Fabric:

  • Directional twin shape; ABS/urethane blend sidewall construction; wax-infused sintered base; 60% recycled steel edges

Traction and Grip:

  • Grip Tech sidecut creates 4 points of contact underfoot, enhancing your edge control and turns

Features:

  • Mixed fiberglass reinforcements create stability and pop—the Element can handle lapping the park when the freshies get tracked
  • Snowboard deck and base colors may vary from online photo
  • Mystic core
  • Mixed Glassing triax-over-biax fiberglass
  • Lightweight poplar core has two bamboo compression axles running tip to tail; bamboo axles enhance flex without affecting turn or spin initiation and landing recovery
  • System rocker shape is equally at home in deep powder, tight trees, technical steeps and groomers; rocker ensures that your edges engage when maximum control is needed
  • Rhythm sidewalls

The Arbor Element RX Snowboard tends to react violently when mixed with fresh pow and freeride terrain. It destroys snow on contact by throwing overhead slashes, ripping chutes, and stomping cliffs due to its Mountain System rocker, which gives it the float needed to stay on top of pow. However, it's constructed with sustainably-harvested wood to reduce its impact on the environment, so the mountains aren't permanently harmed from the thrashing you just gave them. And if you decide to conduct some experiments in the park with it, too, be prepared for some exciting results.

System rocker uses several different design elements to provide true rocker performance while maintaining an incredible amount of edge hold and pop. It features a parabolic arc that is more rockered between the bindings and less rockered at the tip and tail to give it float in powder and a catch-free feeling on hardpack, while making turn initiation fluid and easy. The Grip Tech sidecut uses two additional contact points along each edge to allow for reliable edge hold on a rocker profile. A Power Ply sustainably-sourced wood topsheet replaces plastic to not only make it poppier, but more environmentally-friendly as well.

A triax-over-biax fiberglass lay-up gives it a responsive feel for greater precision and control when the terrain gets tricky. Lightweight FSC-certified poplar is used in the core for a smooth flex and lively feel, and dual strips made from fast-growing bamboo running down the center maximize pop. Rhythm sidewalls feature a blend of urethane and ABS to absorb vibrations for a smooth ride, and the sintered base absorbs wax well and resists damage from rocks and stumps hidden beneath the snow.

Arbor Element Snowboard Review:

Reviews:

This board is KILLER!! I ride at Snowbird in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah so i primarily ride POW, I have only taken this board out twice due to low snow conditions but that's all it took to make me fall in love with this board! The grip tech side cut makes it so no matter what the conditions are, (powdery, or icy) you can make every single turn with complete confidence that you will have control! the parabolic rocker system is awesome as well, keeps you floating on the pow effortlessly and ripping the groomers with ease! I ride a 157 and I am 5'10 and 155 pounds and this board in my opinion is the perfect fit!
