Arc'teryx Lorum Zip Neck Review:

Tried 3 different polartec stretch zip necks - this one, the Marmot Gates, and the Patagonia Piton. I was trying to replace a beloved Patagonia piece that was similar - although apparently no longer made (replaced by the Piton). The Arcteryx Lorum is heads and tails above the other two...and fit true to size for an XXL (I'm a big guy...6'3" tall, 240 lbs.). The Arcteryx is slim, not baggy...but the other two were ridiculously small. The Gates and Piton both fit like a large (even though they were marked xxl), and were short - they would ride up on you all day. I own several pieces from all these companies, and I almost think Marmot and Patagonia have shrunk their sizes recently. The Arcteryx has a long waist, so no plumber's butt problems here...and extra long sleeves, but that's a good thing if you are stretching or reaching during activity. Buying the female version of this piece for my wife. Outstanding product.
