This is a Great Jacket!

I bought this for my wife, and she loves it. She has 4 reasons why she loves it 1) it is super warm (she is a teacher and wears it daily for recess duty with no complaints of ever getting cold) 2) the back is longer than the front and helps keep the cold breeze out 3) the cuffs of the jacket are great and really fit the wrist without being to tight and 4) the jacket is super lightweight and easily folds up and fits into a bag. She has even had it in a sackpack with extra room to spare, no other winter jacket can do that. Plus, in my opinion, the jacket looks great on her. Arc'Teryx is a great brand and you will not be disappointed with this one.

Extremely versatile, yet extremely warm.

I just got this jacket for Christmas (so it's been about 3 weeks) but I love it already! I was really worried about how thin it actually feels, but it's deceivingly warm. The coldest I've been in with it was about 30F degree weather in the city wearing nothing but a t-shirt underneath and I had absolutely no complaints. I've even had it here in Maryland in 60 degree weather with no complaints of being too hot. I think in colder/windier weather I might need a shell over top of it, but so far it's served well as my primary winter jacket. And I can easily wear it inside for a little while without feeling overheated. Can't wait to take it on more rock climbing trips this spring!

Super Light, Super Warm Jacket

I bought this as a gift for my wife for the winter cold. First impressions are, wow, what a beautiful jacket! It's super lightweight and the insulation warms you quickly (ok, I might have tried it on, don't judge). It reminded me of my MH Chugach jacket. Super lightweight, and could have you sweating in about 5 minutes. I'm actually pretty jealous of it. I've never even bought myself Arcteryx branded gear, mainly due to the high cost of it all (I'm mainly a NF guy, due to their cut sizes). Bottom line: if you're on the fence about getting it, GET IT. For the quality and effectiveness of this jacket, and if propperly cared for (NixWax), this should provide you with many years of smiles!

This jacket is Da Bomb!!!

Bought this jacket for my wife (Dallas born, transplanted to Denver). Always cold here and she never understood what I meant by "spend the money and buy the good gear, it'll make all the difference." I'm already a huge arcteryx fan so I got this jacket for her for christmas. she's very petite, 5'2" and 115lbs. this jacket is so form fitting all girls will love the cut. it doesn't look like a big poofy winter coat, yet INCREDIBLY warm. In her words "I look sooo cute in this". Lol, piece by piece I'm replacing her winter gear, but this is one she'll use all year. I think she'd sleep in it if I let her... TRust me I won't... she absolutely loves this coat

Cool enough to wear during spring and fall cool nights, warm enough to wear all winter.

I have had this jacket for almost two years now and love it. It is extremely light and compactible- perfect to stuff into a pack for cold nights. I have a North Face Nuptse jacket as well and this keeps me just as warm for everyday wear during the winter without all of the bulk of the Nuptse. It also keeps me warm enough for snowshoeing with just a t-shirt underneath. It does well and keeps me dry if it is sprinkling rain, but if the rain is strong it soaks through quickly. Cool enough to wear during spring and fall cool nights, warm enough to wear all winter. I also love the cuff sleeves. Would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Just what you need, simple and warm

I bought this jacket two months ago and snowboard in the mountains of Colorado 3-5 times week. Being able to acclimate to all weather conditions is key when your on the mountain and this jacket does just that with its' light weight insulated material. Although this jacket may seem to not have all the bells and whistles you want, it has just want to need. The feature I find to be both unique and practical is the fitted cuffs. These allow you to easily put on and off your gloves with no extra material hanging around while having a flexible tailored fit. After this jacket I will never go back to pull-strap cuffs!
