Nice hoody, very warm | |

I love this hoody and wear it often. I got the sun-dried tomato color, which I like. I also got it for $50 on backcountryoutlet.com, which is a great price for such a nice sweatshirt because otherwise it's pricey like all Arc'Teryx gear. Though, I do have to say, it's all well-made, and the only piece I own that's had a problem, they are replacing at no charge to me. My only complaint is that the little pocket (with a zipper) inside the front pocket is nice other than it causes a slight "pooch" out of the sweatshirt there- maybe I should have gone with a small rather than medium...

Arc'teryx Emissary Hoody

I decided to splurge on myself & purchased the Arc'teryx Emissary Hoody because I am slowly switching my next to skin gear to Merino Wool. This wool pullover does run true to the sizing chart (go up 1 size when buying Arteryx fleece). It is so soft, never itchy, & washes easily: I set up a summer chaise lounge chair to dry this flat in my laundry room. Plus I can wear the color I got out on the town with a nice pair of wool pants. Smashing! Now, I'm considering the Penne...

Sexiest Sweatshirt Ever

I have pretty much lived in this for a few weeks since I got it. The fit is perfect for me (I got a medium and am 5'10" 140lbs) and the fabric feels amazing. The color on the sundried tomato is pretty good looking too (a bit darker than photo). My favorite thing about this sweatshirt is inside of the kangaroo pocket there is a zippered pocket in the stomach panel so you can put stuff in without worrying about it falling out the sides. Genius. Arctery'x strikes again.

Really breathable and warm hoody. I wore it around the house when recovering from surgery and I was never too hot or too cold. Haven't gotten a chance to take it camping yet. I'm 5ft 7in, 135lbs, got a Medium and it's a little less fitted than expected, but still nice-looking and not frumpy. But I'm an in-betweenie in a lot of brand's sizing, so no big.

Not much to say...you expect the best from Arc'teryx, in most cases you get what you expect.

Love this shirt! It's stylish, great fit, cute hood and I like the hidden zipper in the front pocket. I wear it in town and hiking and skiing. My only problem is figuring out how to rotate it in in my wardrobe so people don't see I'm wearing it 6 days a week.

The color looks great. A little bit darker than I expected, which makes it perfect for fall and winter. The fabric seems last forever.

Order in a smaller size if want to wear this as a stand alone piece. But saying that I had to return it because it was the scratchiest wool piece I have tried. I wear a lot of wool icebreaker, smartwool and Ibex so it is the piece not me. I think this will be my last Arcteryx buy since they outsourced to china the quality is what you would expect for china and the price is for the old great Canadian gear. I think backcountrys stuff from Canada has been a good investment... Thanks guys
