A mid-sized convertible, the Arc'teryx Miura 30 Backpack is a RollTop loader that can be filleted open, via a full-separating front panel, for super easy gear access. Two modular/removable external load straps keep the load from shifting, and help to provide two different configurations for attaching a rope to the outside. A full-on suspension system is highlighted by anatomical shaped hipbelt and shoulder straps, HDPE framesheet, two 6061 aluminum stays, and Spacemesh backpanel.

Road trip ready, this cragging pack provides excellent storage and access to your climbing essentials.

Great, but not perfect | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Very solid climbing-specific pack. It's a versatile bag that's good for everything from the climbing gym, to sport climbing, to a day of climbing involving a moderate-to-long approach. Very comfortable and has many of the bells and whistles that I wanted in a crag pack (zippered side entrances, internal gear loops, etc.). A few small features missing that you typically get with packs - a small daisy chain on the outside in case you do need to clip something to it, a small mesh pocket on the sides of the pack near the bottom to hold trash, and most importantly a water bladder compartment (the pack is designed to work with a bladder, just no compartment tailored to hold the bladder). Note: if you are going to do a lot of back country climbs or carry a bunch of trad gear, consider the larger sizes of this model. | |

Great pack for technical or travel

| * Great technical pack, as alwasy from Arc'Teryx * Roll-top closure and dual side zippers are great. You can access your gear in a unique and very effective way. * Just the right size to fit in an overhead bin, so you could carry-on (I have the 30L) for travel ** Not perfect as your only backpacking resource, but it's darn near perfect for climbing, short treks, and travel. | |

"Great pack!" | |

| I use this pack for climbing. I’m about 6 foot and picked up the 30 pack tall, which is about a 35L. it’s great, fits all my gear, very comfortable and adjustable. Arcteryx makes a kangaroo pouch that can hook to the front as well. The only down side is it’s not waterproof, you have to use the Arcteryx rain cover. | |

I like it. | |

| I like it so far, I have taken it on two multi pitch climbs and it is doing OK. It could use some gear loops, a hydro compartment on one side or the other and it would be nice if I could strap the front to the back so I could carry more rope. | |

"Look out for your straps"

| Great resistant bag with good ergonomic. The straps can fall of though - lost it in translation. Cons weight and price. Pro materials (as allways with arcteryx), colours and "volume efficient". | |

almost great | |

| Need a working pack to hump tools, water, food and some climb gear. This one keeps the hard gear from digging in to the back. Like the way the main compartment is suited to climbing but had trouble with hauling the bag until I removed the hip belt(contoured). Then I had trouble with the load swinging around. Some compression straps, hydration (bottle outside or bag inside) and maybe some daisy chains would help. I'm 6'0 and the length (size L) was conflicting with my harness and my lid. | |

A bit disappointing | |

I'm a huge Arcteryx fan - I have jackets, clothes, packs from them and until now, I've never been disappointed. On the good side, this pack is well made and is likely to last a long time. The hip belt is comfortable and the adjustability of the straps etc... is great. The buckles, stitching are all top rate.
