Arc'teryx gave the Women's Operative Crossback Top a long cut to fit well when tucked into a climbing harness and a shelf bra for excellent support as you take on a hard pitch. Wide shoulder straps make the Operative Crossback Top comfortable to wear when you sling a rack of gear over you shoulder and cast off for a multi-pitch trad climb. You could wear this Arc'teryx tank top to a party or something as well, but wouldn't you rather be climbing?

"Fabulous." | |

| This is a fabulously classy, understated top. It's wide straps are a refreshing change from the ever-present spagetti straps so many summer tops have now, and for women who aren't in their 20's a wide strap is more flattering and appropriate. The white inserts are stunning. Only flaw - the straps were slightly long on me, they drop forward when I lean forward but it's minor - there is no way to shorten them. Overall the styling of this thing is so classy it doesn't matter - it's a one-of-a-kind piece. Very Lauren Bacall! | |

| It is very comfortable to wear and I like it when being casual. Doesn't feel that supportive when rock climbing, etc. Also, as the fabric is mostly cotton, it doesn't dry as fast when you hike and/or get really warm. However, I love the feeling of it when just being casual and it is relatively easy to take off despite the built in bra. | |

This tank top is super cute and super comfy. The material is soft and fun to wear. The straps are wide enough to provide support and very flattering on the shoulders. It is cut a little shorter than some tanks I have, so I have to make sure to wear jeans that are not super low rise. Overall, a great shirt!

I wear this to the gym and it's freaking comfortable. The cross back lets you move your arms around like ninja without straps getting in your way. I've had tons of people compliment it and it looks good for non-workout activities. It is cotton, so if you get really sweaty, your shirt will get sweaty, too. It's best for mild exercise.

Love this top! | |

| I love this tank! It's super comfy to climb in or do yoga in. The cotton is really soft and it fits beautifully. It doesn't have the "creep up" effect that so many yoga style tanks have, so it's even nice to wear out casually. I will probably get another color in this tank. | |

A bit long for someone w/a short torso

I liked the tank and agree with most of the other reviewers. However, I'm 5 '2'' and ordered a small.. I had to return it b/c it was very, very long on me. I agree it would be better for casual wear/exercise as opposed to something more intense (since it's cotton). Definitely nice quality.

| I could never afford anything made by Arcteryx before this went on sale. It's beautifully made, the fabric and fit are perfect, except for me the bus is a little large...stil do-able. This is truly versitle, going from work to play and looking sophisticated, not overly tech-y. Nice! | |

Great tank | |

I love this tank top. It fits well, especially under the arms where sometimes other brands (Prana, especially) really cut into me.

"Wicky, stylish, and comfy = best tank ever!"

| This tank is DEFINITELY a must have if you want to look a little more stylish out there. It's great for sweatyness, since it's so wicking. Plus, it's really nice looking. Already got a bunch of compliments. | |

"Order one for summer hikes!"

| I generally love Arcteryx products, and this one is great too. It's very soft and form fitting, although not moisture wicking. This would be a nice feature. The straps cross in the back and are very flattering. | |

I don't know why I am the only one that doesn't really like this top, but I found the cut really bizarre. I am 5'10" 140lbs and this was long and baggy in strange places (like the arm pits). The built-in bra was not supportive at ALL and kind of pushed my boobs down--not attractive. I saw pictures of myself in this top over the summer and realized this much too late. Not for tall girls I guess. (oh and I got a medium)
