Arc'teryx Palisade Cropper Reviews:

Reviews:

The pants are excellent for climbing and hiking. I am 6'3" 200lbs and a large fits perfect. The gusseted crotch makes climbing so comfortable! Harnesses feel comfy with these pants on, and they offer more abrasion protection than shorts do. They only go down slightly below my knee (Maybe 3 inches,) but they sure look good! They dry super fast and are super tough. One year of climbing and not one tear or stain. I would recommend them to anyone! The build in belt works wonderfully as is very convenient in that you can adjust the waist without the bulkiness of a belt.Zippers on every pocket keep my things safe when I climb or hike. Great job arcteryx!

Wow!

Purchased for backpacking. I like them more than I anticipated and now find myself wearing them around town as well. These are definitely top shelf knickers to go along with the top shelf price. If you have never experienced the versitility of knickers in the outdoors you owe it to yourself to do so. I mostly wear them roled up 3 times to just below the knee. I own other knikers but none have the quality or fit of Arc'teryx.

My go to mountain pant

i'm on my 3rd pair of these long shorts. i use them for hiking and climbing all summer long and even in the winter with long johns under them. they are long enough to cover your knees so they don't get all scratched up while climbing. i've worn these while climbing the Grand Teton, Red Rocks, and throughout the North Cascades.
