Sizes run BIG !!

I bought these pants to use in the place of bibs on some occasions and because of the price and style. Before I bought the first pair, I first read the reviews of other buyers and on their reviews I decided to buy the size large, even though my measurements really matched the size extra large. I was so disapointed when I got the size large, they were SO big that even layering with sweat pants they would be too big. So I had to send them back (at my expense !!) and then got a size medium. WEll when I got them they were tooo small, It looked like I was poured in them !! I kept the medium's and instead of paying for more SHIPPING, I will probably give them to someone. I really like these pants and they would have been what I was looking for. So disapointed !!

What a value

These are fantastic pants for the price. Lots of nice details like velcro waist tabs, reinforced inside ankles, snow gaitors. Fit is great but since I'm short 5'1" a little long but can roll them up or tuck in boots. Nice and warm especially in the wind. Have not had them out in wet conditions to see how water resistant they are. Love that they have a natural waistline and are not low riders. Love the pockets. Great for walking my dogs on cold, windy days and pockets are great for phone, bags, and treats. Love them.

Good for price

I am 5'3", and have slender build/hips, so these run baggy and a little long on the crotch & legs, but this will allow for layering with fleece pants,or thermals, and the long pants allow to go over boots. Also, they are not highly insulated, but, again, the size allows layering.

I think they'll be great for my use, which is occasional green to blue slope skiing/snowboarding or snow innertubing, or those days I have to get out and scrape ice/snow off my car prior to driving off! :)

So happy

I bought a pair for myself and my boyfriend last year. I bought medium for myself thinking I would have to wear sweats on top of jeans. But to my surprise I almost collapsed due to heat exhaustion. I had to remove my extra layers. I love them and so does my boyfriend. I hunted for a year to find a size small and finally found them here. I'm so happy!!! I'm going this weekend to by a pair from the same company for my daughter.

incredible buy for the money

Great for very cold conditions, snow, sleet; temps below 30 degrees F; great for staying outside for long periods in cold or cold/wet conditions. Breathable and waterproof! Have well-placed, useful pockets, lower leg vents, velcro and zipper and snap which all work well. Ordered and received pants efficiently. As far as sizing, for me size small was a tiny bit large, but are extremely comfortable and versatile. I love these pants!

Great Buy!

We got so much snow this winter, I needed a little something extra to stay warm. These snow pants were perfect! They kept me warm and dry while shoveling and they were loose enough to play around in the snow with the kids, but not so loose that I felt like I was wearing kids snow pants.

I bought these for my first snowshoeing experience and will be putting them on for future shoveling too. They are very comfortable, plenty of room to move (I was wearing two light workout pants underneath as well). They are maybe a tad long but cover up the legs good and keep the water out.

Love these pants!

I wear them mostly for winter hiking. Love all the pockets, they fit well, have enough give for mobility, lightweight but very warm. Can't comment on durability since I've only worn them twice. I'm 5'3" and the length is fine for me, but if you're tall, they might not be long enough.

Comfy, Warm, [...]

Bought these to go snowmobiling for the first time - these were roomy enough to add layers underneath, but still fit well in the waist without being tight. Kept me warm and dry in the "wintery mix" out on the trails. Will definitely keep these around for more winter time fun!

Seem good for the price

These seem like a nice pant for the price. I haven't worn them in the snow yet so I'm not sure if they're water proof. They run large as I am a 12-14 and I could put myself and someone else in these. I am exchanging for medium.

Negative Reviews:

I wouldn't buy this product again.

I ordered a Medium regular but it was too big. I had to return the item AND PAY FOR THE RETURN SHIPMENT!
mitasu at Campmor on 12/12/2011

Not impressed!

The snap on the waist broke the first time my daughter wore the snow pants! Not impressed with the quality.
Lisa at Campmor on 02/02/2011

A little larger than you would expect

Lightweight for snowboarding, but the fit was much too large for me, and I'm a pretty reliable "medium."

Neutral Reviews:

Not a good fit

I was between sizes so ordered up (med) based on reviews and they were way too big even for layers. I am waiting for a small to arrive and will keep them even if they're not a perfect fit (probably will be short). I liked the pockets, the insulation and if they prove to be waterproof, I think they will work fine. I just need a pair of snowpants for sledding with kids, shoveling snow, etc. Want to save my good pair for skiing. My experience is cheap snowpants from the box stores don't hold up well, rip at the knees so I decided to exchange these rather than just return them as they appear to be better quality.

not bad if your on a budget

For those who are tough on their clothing I would not suggest this product. It does run big and wide in size. Since my daughter is a bit hippy I ordered a large. It is a bit big although the medium would have been to snug. Also because its thin material I'm glad I order the large because the material is so thin she could have split the medium. It is a good value if your on a budget.
Living Life at Campmor on 03/03/2011

too tight in the thighs

I bought these pants big so there wouldn't be any problems with wearing long underwear with them, but I couldn't even get them on!! The upper thigh was very narrow in proportion to the hips and waist. The waist had tons of room, but I couldn't get the pants up far enough to get around to fasting the waist.
Dee at Campmor on 01/01/2013

Very Oversized

Bought these for skiing. Used the sizing chart online and couldn't believe it recommended a large (usually I'm a size 8 or 10). But ordered the large based on the sizing chart. They were HUGE!!
KW at Campmor on 04/04/2011

Nice, but way too big

Way to large for medium size & the elastic around the ankles are not snug to keep out snow, wetness.
Jen the Mom at Campmor on 12/12/2011

Wide fitting

Great pants but very wide legs that were not flattering on me.
Amy at Campmor on 03/03/2013

Product size runs very large

inexpensive but good enough snow pants for occasional use.
bussler at Campmor on 01/01/2011

Good quality, bulky fitting

Great quality, fit was bulkier than I prefer.
