Arizona Archery Arizona Carbon E-Z Fletch Helical with 6deg Offset Reviews:

Very convenient, lightning fast!

With my old single vane jig, it took me 3hrs to fletch 12 arrows (waiting 5min each for the glue on each vane to dry, 3 fletches per arrow, times 12arrows). With 2 bohning jigs, it still would take me about 2hrs, because I had to handle every vane one at a time. With 2 EZ fletches, I can fletch 12arrows in less than a half hour (one hour for one EZ fletch). I close one, spend 5min gluing and setting the other one, then open the first and start over. My hands are busy the whole time, and it goes lightning fast. I also think the helical EZ fletch is MUCH better at giving even pressure around the shaft to secure the vane than the othe helical jigs out there. Nice, even vanes, every time. I use small document clamps on the outside of the arms to help hold the vanes in place. It's not NECESSARY, but it does help. It also lets you move the vanes farther up the shaft (not seated against the bottom of the arm).

Fairly Easy to Use

I just started with archery and when I shot a couple of vanes off my arrows I purchased this to put them back on. It is fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it and pay attention to what you are doing as far as the offset vane is concerned. I used to much glue at first and it got all over when I put the vanes in place. Other than that I like how it does 3 vanes with the proper placement all at once.

Easier Than Art Class

I'm not much for crafts and never did well in art class, but after re-fletching several dozen arrows, I was pleased at how well they turned out. Initially I was using too much glue and it caused things to gum up, but with some practice my fletchings looked better than those coming out of the factory. My only criticism is the price for what you get, but even so if I would happen to lose mine I would probably buy another.

nice jig

Not a real agressive helical, but nice.
