This is a great hoodie to wear as a midlayer. By far the best feature is that the forearms are a slimmer fit with a tighter material. This ensures that when you pull on an outer layer you are not going to have any awkward bunching in the arms. Super long fit and a great technical fabric. It does fit just slightly large, I am 5'9" 155lbs and I bought the Large but the Medium would be a slimmer fit if it was just going to be worn around town. The only thing that I am not a huge fan of is the hand pocket placement. If you have larger hips the pockets can sometimes accentuate that but it isn't too bad.

At first glance I thought that this sweater was heavier than it really it. It's actually really light but still super warm and the material dries super fast. The length is perfect and the pockets are huge! I really enjoy the gaiters and the extended cuff. Not to mention the high wind guard is very effective in keeping the wind from your neck. I have yet to use it in winter conditions but I look forward to it. I'm 5'4" and about 110 lbs and 26 waist and the small fits perfectly.
