Armada ARW Ski -

Armada's womens skis for hard-charging female skiers. The Armada ARW Women's Ski, as an all-mountain dominator, has a wide, stable platform, traditional camber, and burly, full sidewall construction. It's a classic design with tweaks that account for differences in stance and weight between a woman and a man. The ARW is a solid choice for a go-to everyday ski for all-mountain park skiing, so you can kill urban rails, park jumps, or jibs.

Positive (traditional) camber profile doesn't mess around with reverse-anything or rocker-this-or-that, instead it gives you stability and precise control underfoot. Hybrid Double Zone Core is a wood core with two high-density wood stringers to stiffen longitudinal flex and two ABS layers laid alongside the core to increase torsional rigidity. AR50 Sidewall is full sidewall, classic, high-end construction that results in a predictable flex and nigh-bombproof build quality. CK Stringers add to tail durability while giving this ski pop that's essential for ollieing over obstacles or powering through the end of your turns. Laminate Matrix, a layup that increases torsional rigidity and further reinforces the core and construction so you can ride the ARW hard. S7 Base glides fast and efficiently so you accelerate quick and maintain your speed, and the 2.5mm Impact Edges are extra thick and that means they can put up with more abuse. 89-95mm waist provides moderate float in the deep stuff, a stable platform for powering through choppy snow on steep terrain, and it remains agile enough for quick edge-to-edge transitions.

A women's specific park performance ski.

2014 Armada ARW Ski Review

Hi, I'm Beth and this is the Armada ARW. It's a great womens intro or intermediate park ski. Also, this is a nice all-mountain ski like an A or B on a groomer. Great. But really, you're going to want to take it into some trees or some crud, powder. And it fares pretty well on the bumps as well. Real nice and stable underfoot. Can hold any edge, anywhere you are. Great for beating the boys down the mountain. Again, a nice intermediate, intermediate-advanced all-mountain and park ski. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

2014 Armada ARW Ski Review

Hey Jess here. I just got off the Armada ARWs. I would give this ski a 4 out of 5. And it's for advanced-intermediate skiers all the way up to expert. But truly this ski is your type of all-mountain ski that's still very light and still very poppy and will do very well in the park so if you're looking for something you can take around the hill and kind of mess around in the park as well this would be the ski for you.

2014 Armada ARW Ski Review

Hi, I'm Julie. I just got off the Armada ARW. I give this ski a 5 out of 5 star rating. I thought it was a great ski for a park. It does ski really well outside the park as well. It's really nice and lightweight in the tip and the tail for improved swing weight, so if you're learning to throw some spins, this is a great ski.
