Asics GEL-Craze TR Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

I've been an Asics fan for years, but when I took up Zumba, I thought I'd try shoes designed for dance cardio. I tried the popular Ryka's, and they were okay - they glide well but don't provide the stability I'm used to with Asics. Then I tried Bloch, and they were way too slippery on the floor, stiff, and uncomfortable. Frustrated, I turned back to Asics and tried the "Rhythmic" shoes they designed specifically for dance. I had passed on these earlier because they didn't look like they offered enough support. I was right - they were terrible. No support in the ball of my foot or ankles; my feet and back were screaming after just one class. Finally, I tried these cross trainers thanks to all the reviewers saying they were good for Zumba. They are the BEST!!! They have all kinds of support and they glide pretty well on the floor despite the fact they don't have specifically designed pivots on the soles. (I also wear them to a carpeted Zumba class and they work great there too.) I got the black with the hot pink trim and they are crazy cute. VERY fashionable! I absolutely love these shoes and would also wear them for any other gym activities. Now I want them in every color, and am on the waiting list for the berry-colored ones in my size. FINALLY, after 3 failed attempts, the RIGHT ZUMBA shoes! Yeah!

I was searching for a crosstrainer that I could use for both Body Pump style gym classes as well as Zumba. I tried a bunch of different brands and styles and this was the only shoe that felt like it would provide a lot of stability as well as cushion and comfort. The first time I wore them I thought I made a mistake and would be stuck with an uncomfortable sneaker, but the next time I wore them I wore very thin socks and left the laces a little looser and now I love them! They were everything I was hoping they'd be...very comfortable, supportive, well-cushioned, and they look cute too. I love the berry color...pretty and not too over-the-top bright.

Striking bright blue, nice gel cushion, great movement. Slight narrow toe so not a running shoe but, a run around town fashion shoe. Good looking shoe for a light workout.

Very cute, comfortable shoe for my cross-training. I am a true 6.5, and as other reviewers suggested, I ordered a half size up and the 7 fits perfectly!

Negative Reviews:

These are really cute and when you put them on you get that "aahhhhh" feeling, so I thought I had finally found the right pair of cross-trainers to hold up during my daily high-impact Jazzercise classes. I taught one class and by the end, they were stretched out and my forefoot was moving side-side in the lateral support. I have this problem often, so I'm used to buying many pairs before finding a decent pair, but I'm disappointed because I really thought these were the ones. Bummed that no sneakers are holding their support anymore!
