I\'ve been played semi-competitive adult volleyball for about 10 years, both indoor and sand. I never had "real" volleyball sneakers before and either wore running or cross-trainers. \r\n\r\nLast year, my knees hurt after games, so this year I decided to splurge on the real deal. Glad I did. It\'s like night and day! These Asics are comfy and supportive and are pretty grippy, even on dusty gym floors. I used them about four times now and love them. Hopefully they\'ll keep up the good work throughout the season and protect my old knees.\r\n\r\nThe red is pretty bright, but that\'s all that was available in my size.

Awesome Volleyball Shoe - Playing 4+ hours of volleyball at a recreational-competitive level really started to take a toll on my knees so I decided it was time for a new pair of shoes. This is my 2nd pair of Vball shoes from Zappos, the first being an Adidas Climacool. The Asics-1120V is noticeably lighter and has better traction and shock absorption. I also put in a pair of Springbak insoles underneath the original insoles, and the combined effect is that it feels like I'm walking on air. If you're looking for a mid-high end volleyball shoe, this is the one for you!

Long lasting support - I'm a group exercise instructor who goes through a new pair of workout shoes anywhere from a month to two months. I have been unbelievably happy with these shoes. Of the dozens of shoes I've worn, these took several months before they began to break down. I haven't had my usual problems with shin splints and knee pain while wearing them. They have great support and forefoot cushioning (I'm constantly on my toes). I highly recommend them for any activity that requires lateral movement.

Great all round vball shoe - Great shoe when put to the test. This shoe has great lateral motion and fantastic stability. Tread is nice and soft offering great traction. Foot bed is nice, the gel gives the shoe a good soft underfoot feeling without losing 'touch' with the floor. Heel might be a bit hard for those heavier on there feet, might want to consider the Asics Volleycross shoes.

Awesome - This shoe is sooo good, but the only problem is the size. I ordered size 10, the shoe that came was 10, but it was bigger than 10. It’s not Zappos’ problem. Other than that, this is the best shoe to play Volleyball. Nice cushion and everything. I prefer this one for every vball player.

Finally, a great shoe for volleyball - I love it. It held up to all my expectations. It's exactly what a volleyball shoe needs to be - light, plenty of cushion like a running shoe, but rounded court soles. Bingo! Get me 10 more pair. It took me a lot of looking to find the one pair.

Great Court Shoe - These are a great pair of court/gym/training shoes. Very light and comfortable and much better than my previous racquetball shoe. I've had them for a couple of months now and they still grip and feel great. The shoes arrived less than 24 hrs after the order!

GREAT Shoe - This is the 4th pair of ASICS volleyball shoes that I've purchased for racquetball. They are incredibly comfortable, well built and perform extremely well in the court. HIGHLY recommended for court sports on hardwood...my guess is they are that good for volleyball as well. :-)

Great comfort, lightweight - It is difficult to find Men's volleyball shoes in our area stores. These shoes were one of two pairs I bought for my freshman and he chose the Asics Gels because they were the most comfortable and lightweight.

Good shoe for recreational or competitive indoor volleyball. I've been playing for years, and Asics are the best volleyball shoe. Good quality for the money.

Too Narrow - I have worn Asics volleyball shoes exclusively for the past 15+ years. They have been very comfortable and always have fit me very well, until now. I have always been an 11.5 normal width. I have never had to purchase a wide shoe but these are far too narrow for me. The lady at Zappos tells me that I need to buy a wide shoe, but Asics doesn't make a wide volleyball shoe. Something just doesn't sound right, but the shoes are definitely narrower than any Asics that I have previously owned. Regretfully, it sounds like I have to switch brands.

Not as comfy as my Mizunos - These shoes are OK. The size was consistent with my normal shoe size, but overall, they are not as comfortable as my old Mizuno's. I'll be going back to them on my next buy.
