Good shoe, but time to find another
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I think this is the last pair I will buy of the cumulus IX. This is the 10th pair I've bought and recently each one has broken down quicker from less miles, probably cause all the ones you can find now are at least over a year old so the glue and rubber is more brittle than when they were brand new, but this is an awesome shoe, so comfortable. Too bad Asics messed up the cumulus X, I guess I will have to find a new shoe to run in now. | |

Great Deal, Great Sneaker

| Just went for a 4 mile run today. These took a little while to break in, so I'd wear them casually before pushing it too hard. Made that mistake 2 weeks ago and they actually caused a blister. These are my 2nd pair and pretty much the only ones I can run in. Great for a high arch. | |

Basic neutral, long lasting shoe
| Rating: | ![]() |
| The cumulus is an excellent shoe for neutral, medium weight (150lb) runner. It is light but not the lightest. It has good cushioning but not overly so. The shoes lasts a long time, typically about 350 miles for me. | |

Bowlegged non-runner likes these shoes
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I have running, but do it to keep my legs in shape for hiking and backpacking. I am bowlegged and have a tough time finding shoes that dont hurt my knees. These are those shoes! | |

A good all around shoe. | |

| I use nothing but these and the DS Trainers, reservering the trainers for short races and triathlons. This has been my everyday shoe since version 6. | |
